How to Connect
Follow the steps below. Total setup time: ~5 minutes. KittlyClient is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1.

No bundled malware. KittlyCraft.jar is the only file we author — Fabric Installer and Fabric API are unmodified upstream binaries from fabricmc.net. You can grab them directly via the "Official Source" link on each card.

Install Java 17
Minecraft 1.20.1 requires Java 17 to run properly. If you already have it, skip this step. Adoptium provides free, trusted official builds.
Download Adoptium Java 172
Run the Fabric Installer
Open fabric-installer.exe. On the Client tab, set:
- →Minecraft Version:
1.20.1 - →Loader Version: latest (recommended)
- →Install Location: default — don't change
Click Install and wait for confirmation.

Open the Mods Folder
Press Win + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft and press Enter. Inside, find or create a folder named mods.

Drop the Mods Inside
Move fabric-api-0.83.1+1.20.1.jar and KittlyCraft.jar into the mods folder. Both must be there.

Launch via Fabric
Open the official Minecraft Launcher. In the version dropdown, select the new fabric-loader-1.20.1 profile. Click Play.

Connect to the Server
In game, go to Multiplayer → Add Server and use:

Bedrock players: same address, port 19132.
Troubleshooting
Game crashes on launch: make sure both .jar files are in the mods folder. Fabric API alone is not enough.
"Outdated client" error: you selected the wrong profile. Use fabric-loader-1.20.1 in the launcher.
Java not found: install Adoptium Java 17 (step 1) and restart your computer.

Frequently Asked
Does the server support Bedrock Edition?
Yes. Connect via play.kittlycraft.net on port 19132. Bedrock and Java share the same world via cross-play.
When does the world wipe happen?
Focus is on a long-lasting experience. Wipes only happen for major Mojang updates that break world generation, always after community vote.
Is there pay-to-win?
No. Cosmetics and reserved slots only — nothing that affects progression, PvP or economy. Skill defines the player.
